Financial Literacy Secondary Series (Electronic)

Provide families with advice for helping teenagers think critically about financial choices now and in the future.

Teens who develop solid financial literacy skills are better equipped to make responsible decisions about money when they grow up. Give families the information they need to talk about money with their teens, from basic concepts like spending and saving, to more advanced topics such as using credit, investing, and financing higher education.

Receive electronic copies of each of the three resources in this series.

Titles include:

  • Build Your Teen’s Financial Literacy (Booklet) – includes activities to help teens understand the cost of living, become wise consumers, consider the big picture when using credit, create and stick to a budget, and more.
  • Help Your Student Prepare for a Secure Financial Future (Booklet) – offers strategies for families to teach teens about earning, saving and investing with an eye toward the future. Teens can think about earning potential while exploring careers, set short- and long-term financial goals, establish and maintain a strong credit history, and more.
